Saved my feet!
I was on a trip to San Diego and my bags didn't arrive for 24 hours. I was stuck with a pair of old, soft loafers that I had traveled in - and my feet were very sore that day for some reason, my metatarsals were killing me with every step. I discovered I was near a department store so I limped in to see if I could find a stiffer shoe that could protect the soles of my feet. But I normally hate new shoes, because they blister my feet and cause more trouble than they're worth. But I really was desperate. So I tried on all the shoes with stiff soles that might not bend with every step, to protect my sore foot - and found these. To my amazement, my feet barely hurt when I walked and I had no problems with breaking them in, they were comfortable from day one. I liked them so much that i kept wearing them even after my baggage arrived. Now it's about 18 months later and I've been wearing them almost every day ever since - time for a new pair.

worth every penny
Gorgeous Born shoes, worth every dime every time! The gunmetal color is unique and lovely....it's sort of a dull patent that looks like it'll get better with age and distress.Don't worry about the price...I have several pair that have lasted years. And I noticed that many nurses wear these, so they are known for comfort.They do run a tiny bit small (at least to me). I go half size larger...can be worn with or without socks and still be comfortable.

Great Shoes
Terrific shoe that went with me on a 2 week trip. I didn't have a chance to break these shoes in before my trip and I was delighted at how comfortable they were from the start. I walked many miles on my trip on even and uneven surfaces -- never once did I have sore, tired feet. These shoes are fabulous. They are a little "clunky" but that's the nature of a clog inspired shoe. I also took the BORN Somethin' on my trip and found those shoes to be equally comfortable but more stylish. The Toby shoes are great however for everyday wearing; they look well with jeans but not other slacks. Overall however these shoes are wonderful.

I am not sure what to think about this shoe - love the color and the fit - very comfortable - but the sides feel very tacky. Lint will stick to the sides of the shoe. Never had a shoe with that issue before. Anybody else have this problem??

Run ... But not in these shoes
Stay away from these shoes if you wear a medium to wide width shoe. I bought these in black - LOVE the style , but the fit (IN MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION) was more than awful. In every other Born shoe that I have ever owned I've worn a size 6. (In size 6 my big toe hung over the side because the toe bed is very narrow. I exchanged size 6 for size 7 - toe bed still too narrow and shoe bed too long, so I had to return those also - TOO bad, the shoe style is a 5 but the narrow design of the shoe is a 1 - I give 3 stars due to this.

Cute sandals, but not for high instep
These sandals look great, but I was unable to get my foot all the way down into them, due to my high instep. I have found this before with Born shoes, but have always been able to get them on and, eventually, they stretched out. Not so with this style. I guess I just need to swear off Born shoes, which I hate, but whoever they use for a foot model must have a much lower arch than I do. Other than that, they look great and, from what I could tell, would be quite comfortable.

Cute and comfy for all day wear!
Got these thanks to a friend who has worn this style for several years, specifically for dog shows. For folks unfamiliar with the sport, this involves a great deal of standing on concrete floors for hours at a time - sometimes for grooming, sometimes for warming the dog up, and then one has to present the dog's trotting gait to the judge, and do some more running, possibly several times. In essence, one needs footwear with supportive arches, light enough to run in, sturdy enough to run in, with both the touch of practicality and style, and endurance. I am an AKC judge, and I also show my own dogs when not judging in various performance sports. This style looks cute with pants, cute with a skirt, and comfortably survives both the running around, and the interminable standing and walking around on hard surfaces at a dog show.
